THIS is one of them. It is so quick, easy and good - and as you said, we usually always have all the ingredients on hand. We've been having 100 degree temps here, but my son asked a couple of days ago if he could make this. No way, I said. Too hot. Well, today it is cooler and rainy. Guess what we're having for dinner? Thank you.Terrinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5545117243951054815.post-7783351499841133582012-02-04T16:39:41.589-06:002012-02-04T16:39:41.589-06:00Just made it for a party. We both hope others don't like it too much so I can bring it home, LOL! thanks very much!Nancynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5545117243951054815.post-25775412925745021002012-01-29T18:48:08.066-06:002012-01-29T18:48:08.066-06:00My husband is a hamburger nut... could eat it ever...My husband is a hamburger nut... could eat it every day in different forms. I am definitely going to try this recipe.

I'm like Vera, in that it took my husband a while to see he could still eat yummy foods while giving up his beloved carbs. So I, too, appreciate these hubby-friendly meat recipes. :-)Rettahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10034267067410245582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5545117243951054815.post-49178020337595687152012-01-28T21:56:19.037-06:002012-01-28T21:56:19.037-06:00Vera, thanks so much for letting me know you liked...Vera, thanks so much for letting me know you liked it. I have been low-carb and grain-free for only a few months and my husband is just starting to "see the light." It's nice to have recipes that he thinks are delicious and low-carb. He's realizing that he doesn't need all that high-carb food.Veranoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5545117243951054815.post-13510991154345163802012-01-27T08:31:32.338-06:002012-01-27T08:31:32.338-06:00Mexican oregano is actually a different plant from...Mexican oregano is actually a different plant from the regular variety, but they have very similar flavor. I buy mine in the Hispanic food section at the grocery store. It is powdered, unlike the dried flakes I use in Italian dishes. Either would work, since the flavors are so similar.
